A Love Note

Written by Amy C · 53 sec read >

I’ve learned that when it comes to choosing a partner, it is important to match with someone who shares the same belief system. There are some people who are practical for love and some who are crazy for love. I’d like to think I fall in the latter. This is the kind of love that you’d fight for, move for, take risks for and jump in with two feet for. This is the kind of love that inspired the most beautiful of songs, the muse behind the most breathtaking of art and the strength behind the most courageous of battles.

Call me crazy. Call me a dreamer. But I believe in creating a love so powerful it can change the world.

I know when I meet that right person – the both of us will just know. There’s magic to that. And in the meanwhile, everyone else in between is meant to be a part of the journey of discovery. That’s why I’ve learned to not get so attached to the outcome when it doesn’t work out with someone in the present – it’s because I know they were just not meant to be a part of my future.

All I can do is keep continuing my journey of building myself, my life and the impact I make in this world. And one day, when the time is right, the person I was meant to fit with will find me… And it will be amazing.

  1. So true. I’m so happy I never settled for anything less than true love. I had my fair share of bad boyfriends, but when I met my now hubby, I just went for it with all my heart. I thought I’d never get married, but I am now. I believe in that magical love and it is awesome. And when you least expect it…

  2. Absolutely true! Always fully commit yourself to something even though there is that fear of the unknown. Embrace the challenge, because in a sense, Love is a challenge. If no one comes along the way now well like Amy says keep building yourself and your life.

  3. This is absolutely true! like you said the universe is in control and it will happen when it suppose too! Amy i read your blog to find comfort and i love the post you write because it gives me a sense of hope that my love is somewhere out there and in time me and him will meet.
