First to arrive.

Morning coffee with my mom…

She talked to me about fate and the things that are predetermined. She talked to me about love, what happiness is and how proud she is of the daughters she raised.

I have always thought my parents were invincible. But getting older and being away from home has made me realize that they are growing older and one day, they won’t be around. I’m trying my best to discover their stories, listen to their wisdom that I have spent three decades ignoring, and investing energy in making them feel special and important.

Feeling grateful…
